"A stunning and intriguing addition to Brackenwood"
I thought it was absolutely stunning. At first I was taken back by the introduction of narration to the brackenwood series, but it really worked seamlessly and helped to evoke the story and world of brackenwood on a deeper level than before. The art as always was beautiful, but to me the major accomplishment with this entry to the series was the enormous leap you've made with your story telling.
Bitey's selfish/bitter/solitary personality has been suggested previously, but to be given an insight into the "why" was really rewarding, and I immediately felt that I could connect with his character to a greater extent. I loved the glimpses of other animal life in brackenwood (always a highlight of each entry for me) and Bitey's interaction with them, especially the contrast between those interactions as he matured. Baby bitey (that rolls off the tongue adorably) is so cute, and to see the "corruption of his view on life" is really tragic - previous Brackenwood episodes have been much more lighthearted, and this direction of greater depth realy appeals to me.
The music of course requires mention. It wonderfully compliments what's happening on screen, such as his transition from babybitey to... Bitey. The intro music as well is splendid, I love the little subleties like the sound that accompanies his leap away from the bigfoot after throwing the _____? onto his head to attract the... can't remember what they are called. The sound effects are great as well, such as the flapping of the fish in the prowlie's mouth and the sloshing of the jiblets.
The cliffhanger really draws me in. I can't wait to find out more about the history of the Dashkin, my eagerness only heightened by the glimpses offered as he is falling asleep (right before the swirling clouds reminiscent of the Yuyu).
I really love where it's going, and think this is a major accomplishment for you. As I've said, the enormous leap you've made in storytelling is wonderful to see, and I'm more excited now than ever for the future of Brackenwood. At the rate things are going, I don't doubt that one day the Brackenwood movie is going to blow everyone away!

Not as outlandish as previous 'Steve's, but quite entertaining.
Biggest criticism would be that generally there can be a lot more movement, facial expressions etc.
Loved the retro outro though!
Looking forward to Steve 4 ;)

This animation is a huge improvement on the previous animations in the series, well done! The voice acting is great, not too over the top, good expression, clearly spoken. Great use of music to create atmosphere within the scenes, especially after Saria is captured, the music fit the scene perfectly. The most notable improvement was the pacing, the whole animation flowed very well from scene to scene and kept my interest the entire time. The fight scene was well choreographed, not too over the top. The dialogue as well was natural. Diggs' lines were quite funny.
Overall this was a great flash. It is a great improvement on previous animations, and something to be proud of. Looking forward to the next episode!
